Turbo Gsr Idles a bit high.. Need Advice..
On my new setup, my turbo gsr seems to idle around 1K rpm.. its completely built and i'm also running a JG IM.. I"ve double checked for vacuum leaks.. NONE... I"ve also adjusted the Idle screw from min to max, and the idle still stays around 1 K rpm..
Right now, I"m pretty much given up on trying to get it to idle at the normal factory setting, and have left it be..
Any help and advice would be great..
thanks..

Is it idling high but consistent? might want to check idle air control valve in back of manifold, or also check your timing, might be advanced,is the fuel pressure at stock psi? maybe even check if there is some tension on the throttle cable, just throwing out some ideas for you cause when my turbo engine was idlinghigh it was a faulty IACV, when i changed it with another one it idled fine, the weird thing is it never threw a code on the check engine light ijust did everything to make it lower the idle and nothing worked, so i took a chance cause the HELMS manuals #1 choice for high idle was the IACV, so i changed it , and what do you know it worked!!!!!!!!! so try that.
car was tuned w/ all the mods.. i also have a catch can hooked up and when i pinched one of the vacuum lines going to the catch can, the idle dropped to about 900 rpm, still not the normal, but it did go down..
i think my vacuum line goin to the catch can may be too big.. its about the size of the brake booster line....
what do yall think..?
