Default HELP removing wheel stubs

1995 acura integra ls with abs

I've never replaced my wheel stubs on any of my vehicle. Its very basic though but I think I may need some sort of machine to finish the job. I have gottin all the way up to removing the 32mm then I'm at the last plate that holds the stubs. I can't just hit the old stubs out. I have to get that plate off then I can remove the stubs and replace. How would I go about removing the last plate that holds the stubs. If anyone has any detailed information or any DIY with pictures, please send. I would greatly appreciate all help. Thank you. Please email me.

Since you mention the axle nut, I know you're talking about the front. That 'plate' is the hub (#5), & there's more to it than just pulling it off...

You'll probably want to separate three ball joints: upper, lower, & steering tie rod. Take the steering knuckle out of the car, with the wheel bearing & hub still attached.

Press the hub (#5) out from the wheel bearing (#4). This usually destroys the bearing, since the outer cone usually comes out with the hub. If you don't have a press, carry the knuckle to a shop. Press the broken wheel studs out & replace them. Press a new bearing & hub in the knuckle & put it back in the car...
