Default Details on building your engines... d16y7

I'll try to keep it short and sweet. Building a d16y7

1) Polishing the pistons domes(casted virita's)
. How close do i balance these in mlg

2) What bearings do i repalce threw out the engine, and where can i get them

3) I'm using ls rods, in my d16y7, what do i need to ask machined.. the crank part, piston part.

4) I know i have to notch the block.. what about the crank work.. should i balance it and micropolish it, knife edge it..

5) the little etra stuff, thermal coating, cryo, etc.. i'm in no rush what so ever with this build so all the little cheap things i can do to make it go longer would be great.

6) what is the hone method i ask for when getting the block in the machine shop, honda using 360 degree cross hatch.. all companys do the same.. what should i get.

7) where can i get thoose little head keepers/block liner up things.. lol for my y7, i lost the 4 when taking the head off, switching area's

8) PROPPER way to install a blockguard.. should i bother.. i know its been covered but if anything new has come up.. methods.. companys.. i was going with golden eagle.

Cliff notes.. haha

I'l also take some pics tonight, i the head work is comming along great, entire head disasebmled, and the exhaust ports are really smooth, except i have'nt gone on to polish them yet, if anyone can tell me how. Same with the bowl.. which leads me to anther question.. after i post pics can you take a look at the valve seals and tell me if i should have them re-done.
