i saw in a post with the guy with the CRX primered had an electric sander laying around his car..

I guess im old fashioned b/c i was taught bodywork by my dad.. and ive always did it by hand and for flat surfaces with a sand block pr block of wood wraped in sand paper. and sometimes the electric sand wheel when doin fiberglass **** etc..

but to get to my question.. i could ask my dad but im on hear so might as well just ask all of you.. could you use an electric sander to sand the whole car to prep for paint??

as of right now.. my car was custom painted BMW purple a few years back and now it had quite a few dents and dings that i fixed and spot primered. i put on new steel z3 fenders and also a new front kit piece.

Should i scuff the whole car down, wet sand, and feather edge the primered spots or what? by hand.. or electric sander? my dad knows the deal since he builds and paints custom street rods but i like to know some things that he doesnt teach me and was just wondering what all of you do. thanks for the help. ill post pics if u want
