Default 2 new (used) Del Sols - Advise needed

I just picked up 2 Del Sols, a 93 Si/manual (mine), and a 94 Si/manual (wife's). The two are almost identical except the 94 has the spoiler. Both red.

Just putting this out to the floor. What are the first things I should do to improve performance, or prevent problems in the future. As far as I can tell, both are 100% stock.

Both are in excellent mechanical condition, and only minor bodywork is needed.

You can do basic bolt-ons I/H/E for added performance and of course for preventative maint. do all the basics. Congrats on the new whips! Did you get a deal?!

I think there was a problem with the targa seals leaking for the 93 models. You should do a search. There are some fixes somewhere on this site.

Intake, header, muffler with piping. You might also want to get a hi flow catylic converter and resonator. What I just listed makes a noticable difference. Also if you dont' mind spending the money for them, look into an intake manifold and throttle body. With all that I'm sure you'll be very content with your performance.

And just to say if you wanted more you can always turbo the motor or just swap in a better one. Good luck.

You family GOT SOL !!! Ive always like working on suspension first. Making a car handle always makes a car feel faster and take curves! Then again I love Auto-x and roadracing. My thoughts are Tires, Coilovers, Strut Bars, Intake, Exhaust, Swap later down the line if you want !
