i think it would look better without the scope at the top. the two vents are probably really functional for warding off heat but i don't get why mugen(since it's a mugen knock off) put the scoop at the top by the EM.

 

Why? It is an inlet and pushes air down onto the exhaust manifold to keep the engine bay cooler by pushing the heated air away. That is the idea anyways.

 

It's logical that the vents serve that purpose. And if it keeps the engine bay cooler, then why not use it? IMO.
