Yea my car does rev up to 8000rmp. The Ecu does give a code 1 long blink and seven short once, indicating the Speed Sensor, and I do let my car warm up before I drive it. It seems like the car is struggling a lil bit for speed and bogs a lil to. Then it picks up speed and starts to do the same thing again. Any I deas ?

1. It's VTEC not V-Tec, look at your valve cover.

2. Make sure your speed sensor is plugged in right where it meets the tranny.

must have been like some 20W stuff.

Changing oil types does NOT make any noticable preformance gains

v-tec will never work because there is no such thing.

however, if you fix your VSS and there are no other codes, VTEC will work.

without the VSS there is no signal from the tranny, So the ecu has no idea what is going on. So its not going to run right. Just go to a junkyard and pick up a speedometer cable

The JDM motor probally came with a electronic VSS. no problem, for a quick fix unbolt the top of the vss, (the plug) 2 10mm bolts. and stick the vss cord down into the VSS it should fit right in there.
