Default B-Series Transmissions

I know the saying is that B-Series transmissions are interchangeable among each other. However, will a FWD CRV transmission physically bolt up and function in a EH Civic? I've searched, and no one gave a definitive answer. It's for a turbo LS hatch. I'm a newb

TIA

I posted this in the hybrid forum as well, but that forum is a bit slow.

hm why do you want a CRV tranny?

well i don't think its physically possible. most people change their tranny when they have a B20 swap.

Just expanding my options, B-Series transmissions are hard to come by in good working order.

Not really. They are usually just expensive.

It will bolt up and work but you will be much better served with a b16 or GSR trany depending on your goles

It will bolt up to the motor, however, axles probably wont fit, and i'm not sure if the trans mount will line up. Eitherway, it is not a good idea...

Well thanks for your input, but that's not a definitive answer. Does anyone know for certain?
