tranny D16Z1(2) -> B16A1(2) possible?

Is it possible to put D16Z1(2) tranny into B16A1(2) engine? Is this straight bolt on?

no. D-series transmissions and B-series transmissions are not interchangeable.

as far as trannies go...
D-series are interchangeable with eachother. B-series are interchangeable with eachother, except the B20.

yes. and the prelude B20 tranny, also, cannot be used.

edit: can't find much info on this. i still think no B20 tranny can be used, unless somebody can prove different.

I wasn't sure weather or not that was true.. care to explain why? I never knew this.
