Europeans can't drive, so we don't have cars here.

Please do a search. There are many Euro ITRs here..... The Euro ITR looks almost the same as the USDM ITR from the outside.

LOL!. Yeah, actually Europeans are much better in driving + we learn driving the stick during the driving lessons. Actually, 90% of the people in Europe drive manual gearbox.

Which is a very good thing. America's accident percentage would probably drop by half or more if we all drove sticks.

Why so ?

We see lots of accidents here.... Maybe it`s just Germany.. No speed limit and germans drive insane... In the Netherlands it`s less dangerous.

Are the Netherlands safer cause they are all stoned and drive really slow?

I've always noticed that people who drive sticks tend to be more involved in the driving experience due to the fact that they are doing more things in order to control the vehicle. They are thus more perceptive to what's happening on the road while they're driving.

For years most of America viewed driving as more of a chore than a pleasurable experience, and thus shifted towards buying vehicles with features designed to help isolate them from the driving experience. This, combined with the overwhelming onset of SUV's in the US market, makes for a particularly dangerous driving environment as compared to a similar environment with similar laws that included primarily small to mid-size cars equipped with manual transmissions. I'm not saying that automatics are safer or that manuals are safer, I'm just saying that the majority of the people driving automatics pay much less attention to the road than they would driving a stick.

LOL!!!!!!! I don't think this a valid theory after returning from a Jamaican honeymoon. The locals lucky enough to own cars drive fast as hell and past on two lane roads with inches to spare from oncoming traffic all the while some dude is riding a bike inches from the shoulder.

I live in Holland and never got stoned.....

strange? no, When its legal its not funny anymore!
When the soft drugs got legal there were a lot of coffee shops where the sell the stuff. Now, years later, not even the half of them exist anymore.
In amsterdam are a lot coffee shops because of all the US guys who are going there for a smoke in there vacation!
