Car: 91 Accord Wagon

I have a speedometer thats just plainly not working. The blinking signal says the same. The speedometer sometimes works and sometimes just flatlines at 0mph. Also sometimes the engine check light comes on randomly. Its really weird. Where should i start to check stuff?

 

check all your wiring connections....could be your speed sensor.

maybe if it was a different color it would make a difference

 

i have the same problem, boughten speed sensors yes two, wasn't the problem, i just purchased a new cluster.....waiting for it in the mail, hopefully thats the problem, i heard that speedometers can go bad, we'll i'll see.

 

my speedo and odo went bad....a new cluster solved all that........

driving around and using gear combo + revs to calculate speed = teh win

Your instrument panel, where your tach, speedometer and odometer are. Etc...

 

mines is stuck at 20mph ne help on that?

 

mine went bad. i bought cluster it wasnt it, it was the speed sensor.
