Ok i removed the secondaries off of my gsr and left the plate in as a spacer. It rode fine for a while and hauls all types of ***(and doesnt lose all that low end like all the e-geniuses say it does). Now the other day the CEL came on so i pulled over and tryed to run the numbers but nothing flashed and VTEC kicks in at 4500. Ive heard that vtec is posta be at 4500 or gsr's and the secondaries open at 5200 or visa versa could this be the problem?

 

if you can't pull the code, its an ecu problem - if that was the case you wouldn't be able to rev past 3500rpm or so.... and in that case it makes me think you should BE able to check the codes... so go try again tiger

 

still no luck and i doubt its a ecu malfunction. i have no clue on what the hell it could be. It might be tied into the sudden stroke of stupid **** happening such my pc not reading harddrives, counter strike getting hacked, etc.

 

vtec is 4400

if ur car is running fine, and no codes come up

no there is a code, it stays on constant while the car is on. But when i try to see what the cel reads out it wont blink as if it doesnt have a cel issue

 

vtec 4400rpm
secondaries 5800 rpm

 

ah i c, but that still doesnt help explain the cel
