Brake Rotor Screws - are they necessary?
those screws that holds the rotors to the hub, are they necessary? do i need to re-install them when i swap out the rotors? other cars like mitsu don't use them, it's a PITA to remove them sometimes,
no, i took mine out bc they're a pain in the ***...ive never seen any other cars w/those stupid screws, so i would say they are not necessary! i hate those things!
I think they're mainly there to keep the rotor in place when the wheel is removed. I keep mine installed, but I put some anti-seize on them and didn't torque them very much, so they won't be hard to remove.

Agreed. These screws aren't necessary and only there to keep the rotors on during manufacturing.
