Breaker Bar Size for 2001 Accord ATF Change?

Breaker Bar Size for 2001 Accord ATF Change?

Previous posts have mentioned using a breaker bar to remove the drain bolt.

What would be the recommended size to buy? All I have is a 3 /8" dr. Ratchet.

Also, would spraying the drain bolt with either WD40 or silicone spray help?

1/2 Inch drive 36 inch bar is a good investment.

So 36 inch would be a good length, but I thought the recommended drive size was
3/8"?

I'm just letting you know what the guys in my shop use everyday. I've seen 3/8 drives broken trying to remove tranny drain plugs.

The ATF bolts are usually really tight, I don't think the 3/8 allows for lots or torque. I just broke one over the weekend trying to get a medium size bolt out.
