Default Don't want to start turbo/sc argument, but I need some advice/help

I am thinking of doing a jrsc on my itr. I just want to run stock 5.5lbs of boost. Other than a fuel pressure regulator, what else will I need to bolt it on and roll till I can afford hondata or some tuning time? I have an xs engineering ecu on the car right now, which runs a little rich, but not bad. I searched, but couldn't find what I was looking for. If anyone can help I would appreciate it.

PM Jim (Batoutahell). He has a JRSC and has a lot experience in getting it to run reliably. G'luck.

boost is boost.....its all 5.5 psi on your engine....i found 6 psi without hondata and injectors ran VERY lean once it hit vtec. i only ran it without the hondata tuned for ONE night. i was scared, ill admit it. b18c5's arent cheap. ive been turbo @ 8 psi for 6 months now though.

I would get a fuel pump or even an FMU for that matter, better safe than finding a used C5 block

I've had both a JRSC and a Turbo on B18c5 and I have to say I prefer the liniear power of the JRSC. Don't waste your time on stock boost level. Got to at least 9 psi with the Hondata and larger injectors and you won't ever look back.

YOu can order a complete supercharger and Hondata kit from Jackson racing that in cludes the higher boost pulleys as well.
