from my understanding they don't make stage1 wheels for quite some time now. thats what i was TOLD...
a better picture would really help yes...and now that i actually counted the blades...it does come up to be 11(i think...)

i think it's 10..
it gets tricky in that black spot but look at the "shade" space between each blade near that side... kinda wide apart ... ?.. eyes playing tricks on me

"Stage 1" just refers to the standard 11 blade T3 turbine wheel found in OEM applications. In the turbocharger (re)manufacturing industry it's commonly known as the -72 wheel. Just use a set of calipers if you want to be certain.

Hard to tell at that angle... looks like it's stage III to me. H trim compressor wheel, could even be 60-1 hifi.
Just because it's 11-bladed does not mean it's -72 (stage I). Older wheels (which this probably has judging by the unpolished comp housing) were 11-bladed up until about a year ago I believe when the 10-bladed pro comp inconel wheels came out (-72 still remains 11 bladed).
Best way to know for sure is pop the housings and measure the wheel inducer/exducer with a set of calipers like turbopimp said.
