Exedy Clutch Kit for really cheap?
Im replacing my clutch, flywheel, throwout baring, etc. in my 92 Civic DX and found an Exedy Clutch Kit (think its the stage 1 organic) at Clutchcity online for only $101.00........is that possible or am i getting ripped off somewhere or something cause i found the same kit on a different site for $237.00? I want to order it cause its really cheap but im not sure. Probably sounds dumb, just want to know what other people think.
You sure it's not the oem kit instead of a stage 1? cause 100 for oem seems right and 240ish for Stage 1 seems about right too
Also it depends on how much power you're making and plan on making if you should spend 240 on a clutch. If your engine is mostly stock and you're not planning on modding it that much i would stay with oem, but if you're planning on boosting or building it up, I'd drop some more cash on the clutch for a stage 1 or 2 at least. Just my $.02
im going to get a swap done sooner or later once i find exactly what i want and then boost it with a turbo. but until then i just need a clutch kit cause right now i cant even drive my car my clutch is so bad.
A stage one will be able to handle more power and has greater holding power than oem. I think Exedy makes everything up to Stage 5 kits too

I know the feeling, in that case go with OEM cause chances are you'll need a new clutch for your swap so I'd save a little here and drop a little more once you get there

Thanks alot for the advice
think ill just wait for the stage 2 or 3 til i actually get the swap and everything done and meanwhile just get the oem so i can at least get around
