Question on wiring harness for tranny swap.
I converted my auto to a manual and am having some trouble...
After it runs for a while, like maybe 10 miles or so, it starts to slip and the rpm's go way up before it is at the right speed for the gear it is in...
I didn't change the wiring harness when I did the swap, and i left the auto ecu in by tricking it into thinking it was always in park....
Is this part of my problem, or is it something else?

Not related to the ECU.
Well then I am thinking it may be the throw-out bearing, could that cause it to slip if it isn't in there right?
And that is the only problem I have with it, so I guess the way I wired the ECU should be fine...
Any other thoughts?...

Uh the only electronics hooked up to the manual transmission is the vehicle speed sensor and back up switch. Everything else is mechanical. The ECU would in NO way make your car slip. Only thing I can figure is maybe its trying to set up for the next gear, but if you have it convinced its in park it shouldn't be a problem. Basically its all motor now and the ECU shouldn't have anything to do with it. I could be wrong on that though
You definitely have something going on in there. Did you replace the clutch/flexplate, throw out bearing, and turn the flywheel? Sounds to me like your slippage might be due to warpage/improper installation.
