Hesitating at Low RPM's, after 3000 RPM's, runs okay...
I rebuilt my motor about 10,000 miles ago, did rings, head gasket kit, bearings, etc. When I take off from a light, it cuts out (hesitates) between 1000-3000 RPM's. If I drive above that, it runs fine. Any Ideas?
I'm still trying to figure this out as well. Check your spark plugs, they might be fouled. Mine were, and the problem went away after I replaced with new plugs, BUT the problem is now back after a month
Anyone else?

I have replaced the plugs, wires, cap, rotor, and even the ignition coil, i checked the spark plug gap, although i havent replaced the fuel filter yet, maybe i should try that next, thats the cheap way to go.
Well, the fuel filter didn't fix the problem, and I'm getting plenty of fuel, suddenly it just started working like normal. So I'm at a stand still, and don't know what it was, but for now, it's not doing it.

Adjust up your timing as long as you don't have any engine knock. I had a similar problem and that did the trick. If that fails you might consider a valve adjustment if you currently here the valves clicking.
Fuel Filter is good, O2 Sensor is new, Timing is actually advanced already, valves are adjusted, the only thing i havent checked is the injectors. That's my next step, thanks.
2 key sensors you want to check. The throttle position sensor and the MAP sensor before throwing a O2 sensor at it. With the engine running back probe each sensor to see the voltage output. You should see a steady increase or decrease in voltage as the throttle plate is opened and closed. An jumping or erractic voltage reading indicates a faulty sensor. Since these sensors still read within the voltage range it won't trigger a CEL.
My bet is on the MAP sensor or MAP sensor circuit.

Mine does this too, but only after the motor has been on a long run. So far I have replaced the spark plugs twice, leads, dist cap, fuel filter, oxygen sensor, fuel pressure relief valve, cleaned the injectors & checked the throttle pos sensor. I guess the map sensor is next. Tad

Stop throwing parts at it. Diagnose it properly and fix what's wrong.

Check your cam timing (not ignition)......... i bet your off by 1 tooth on either cam.........
get a timing light on it..........
had the same prob in my crx and looked at the timing closer.........
