Default Turbo Questions

For those of you that have turbo's in your rsx's, I was just wondering what type of turbo's you're using, about how many psi are you running, and if you've upgraded your internals at all. From what I've seen in other honda motors, I should be able to go to around 7-8psi safely, but just wanted to hear from someone thats running one.

Edit: Also, how is your intercooler fitment? Did you have to cut anything?

greddy kit.
7psi.
stock internals.
kenji custom tuned e-manage (will go with k-pro soon)
greddy fmic. yes cutting of the bumper is involved because it's a big intercooler.
the turbo included in the kit is a t517z. spools right about 2800 rpm with a 3inch testpipe and 3 in custom exhaust.

ive also heard that its a good idea to improve fuel delivery when running boost. you know, better injectors, adjustable rails, bigger pump.

Ya, the injectors definitely. I'm moreso concerned space everything takes up. The car is on lease, so I need to be able to rip this stuff back out and go back to stock. Trying to avoid buying a new bumper, or cutting/grinding and supports.

i don't think that there is a fmic out that u wil not have to somewhat modify and rsx bumper to get it to fit.

the car is on lease? Well the question is, are you going to buy it out at the end of the lease? Cause if you aren't then cut away.

Not sure if we're buying it or not. It's my wifes car and she gets bored of cars quickly. We'll see in about a year or so if she's going to be holding onto it or trading up. So until we're sure, I'm gonna try not to cut anything.

Slap on a supercharger for now. Gives a little more kick and can be easily removed if you return the car.

I'll have to look into the super, but I think the turbo route is going to be cheaper, even with a new bumper. I've helped my friend rig up a HMT on his crx, and it came out really well, so I'll probably be doing that for ~ $1400-1800.
