Do U got the hyperblinker symptom too? Sounds like you have the constant power (lower wattage) disconnected from the circuit. What are the 3 colors for the corner lights? I don't remember a black/red wire, just black, green, and red. Either way, 3 wires means it has to be one of these three wires: ground, constant voltage, and signal voltage (blinker). Just wire it up to the ground, and the constant wire, unless you want the city light to act as a blinker hehe, then wire it up to the signal voltage. You should always use a light tester if you are unsure of the wire. I have learned with Hondas, to not trust the colors for being red +, black -.

So its wired back up normally now? If so, and it still is trippin' then you know the problem spread further than just your socket or your rig now. If it goes back to normal, then obviously you are tapping the wrong wires.
