Cable Tranny Adjustment....
Which way do I turn to make the clutch engage closer to the floor? I think that the previous owner messed with the clutch adjustment so when I shift quick at high rpms it slips. The clutch was already replaced and I did all tests to figure out if it was the clutch that was going bad but everything shows the clutch is good. I want to adjust it so it grabs closer to the floor and full engage so there is no slipping in high rpms. The clutch starts to grab almost when I fully depress it. Any ideas?

Follow the clutch cable all the way to the tranny. There is a little bracket that has a plasitc **** around the cable. This is located on the side of the tranny between the tranny and the radiator. If you adjust it so the cable has less tension, you will make it engage closer to the floor.
I dont get it.... I adjusted it to different ways. The end result is the same. Slipping at high rpm if I change gears fast. Is that my clutch going then? I've already tried all the clutch tests everyone recommended. I even tried adjusting it to spec and it still does the same thing. Doesnt matter if I have it closer to the ground or higher up before the pedal is fully released. Any ideas?

the rpms dont jump high or anything, its like when I shift at 5,500 as soon as I shift it goes to like 6k and then slowly makes its way down before it grabs. Its hard to explain. I wish I had a video or something.
