Default adjusting the clutch.

does anybody have a diagram on adjusting the clutch for a d16y7 or know how to do it??

you adjust the pedal you dont adjust the clutch get under the dash and there is a bolt to stop your clutch adjust it to where you want the pedal to stop when depressed. there is a nut on the rod going into the master cylider turn the to adjust where the clutch grabs I believe.

His is Hydrolic not cable
Ill see if i can get a pic tonight and post it up so you can see what im talking about.

bleed it first if you think it needs to be adjusted. the hydros should self adjust.

You can't adjust the engagement point on a hydraulic clutch because they are self adjusting. Pedal is adjustable though.

^^ correct^^ I adjusted my wifes pedal yesterday because she is short. I got it exactly where she needed it to be cofortable. What problem are you having? Maybee try bleeding the system. Takes 2 peeps but I do it alone....
