Tell Which Year ECU?
P73 : 96-00 OBD-2 Integra Type-R (JDM & USDM)

You should note that 2000-2001 ITR ECU's (and probably all other Honda ECUs for those years) are OBD2b. Your P73 is OBD2a. This is important to know if you're planning to plug this ECU on a 2000+ car.

Thanks, what numbers on the ECU determines if it's OBD2A or B? I was curious if this particular ECU had the immobilizer or not. But if it's A as you say, then I shouldn't worry.
You have to check the lower VH number thats written in the engine bay. It should be below the brake master cylinder on the driver side. Otherwise its also written on the inside of the valve cover in swedish.

LOL, why would there be Swedish in a Japanese car? I just found the above ECU on eBay and it's cheap.

your ecu is most likely a Type R P73, US 00,01 ECU A04. I can tell the brand Keihin was used for 00, 01 and is the smaller type than the 96-99 versions. Different Manufacturer.
JDMs end with 0XX, I know, I have had a US 98 ecu P73 A02, GSR P72 A03, and a 96 GSR P72 A01, now I have a JDM 98 spec ecu.

No, I've had a 98 us type R, the brand was Dairenken(something like that) and the numbers were P73-A02, you can make out the word KEIHIN in that picture also if you search ebay you will see that people selling '00 01 ecus are the exact numbers as listed above in the picture.
