nope. the only "ek" that came with rear discs was the 99-00 si

 

ok cuz my girlie got a "pre-owned" ex and it have a bunch of little **** on it, like JDM sidemarkets, amber lights in the cluster, si interior, CTR lights, and it looks like the motor has been swapped since the motor mount bolts are a tad stripped lol; just wondering if she got gipped

I thought that the ex's with abs had rear disk...

They do come with rear discs...maybe only certain trims? (w/ ABS maybe?)

The 92-95 civics and the 96-98 ex's had rear disk if they had abs. I'm not sure about the 99-00 ones though...

 

I know EJ1 (93-95 Ex coupes) came with rear disc. So if yours is a coupe it probably did.

from someone who owns one straight from the factory, i can tell you that they dont come with rear discs. if you happen to have si discs and would like to get back to a more stock look, i'd be happy to make that sacrifice for you

My friends 94 Ex coupe had rear disc brakes from the factory. End of story.

 

i believe you could special order them from honda with those on but its a very common for the si conversion but i have a 95 ex with factory rear disc because i have abs.

 

My wife's 1998 EX sedan w/ABS does not have disc brakes.

 

lets clear this up:
92-95: ex coupe w/ abs and si had rear discs
96+: only SI had rear discs. abs ex models still had rear drums

yes ^that is right, and i have a question, i know that if you have ABS, you have that extra fuse box, but i thought that ALL 96-98 EX models came with ABS. Sorry if im jacking your thread but i see no reason to start another on. and to answer your question just like i quoted form dansastic, only the Si had rear discs. NO OTHER models had them.

Nope. My 1998 EX coupe did not have ABS, buy my wife's 1998 EX sedan does.
