Default Need help FAST if anyone is online tonight!!!

OK guys I'm driving myself crazy here.

Just finished my rebuild (hydrolocked my turbo GSR in the rainstorm) so I replaced rods and pistons, got everythign back together, blew all the water out of the intake manifold, put on my shiny new exhaust manifold from max rev, and now I should be rolling.

BUT the bloody thing won't start. Engine turns over very smoothly, no hanging anywhere. Fuel pump is working, I can feel the lines pressure up when I turn the key on. I've tried two sets of injectors (swapped in my old 310s I was thinking the 450s may be running too rich to start). I know it's sparking OK because I pulled the plugs and they fire just fine when the engine turns over.

Anyone have any hints at all? Just for kicks I tried resetting the ECU and with the 310s on I zero'd out the VAFC so it should be stock fuel management. I am totally at a loss here.

Occasionally it SOUNDS like it's about to catch and fire up but then nothing.

A couple of times it has shot fire out my intake pipe which really freaked me out. At first I thought it was just the starting spray we've tried throwing in but now that stuff should be long gone.

ANY ideas would be appreciated. I had the brief thought that maybe in the hydrolocking process my catalytic converter could have clogged up and it's not letting the engine flow but I don't even think that's reasonable.

PLEASE PLEASE help this damn car is driving me insane!!!

Sounds like you have the spark plug wires in the wrong place.

Your valve lash could be too tight.
