Default TDC Sensor

Okay-- here is the deal. My "Check Engine" light was on in my 97 Civic so I took it to Checker to get the code pulled. It comes up with 1 code: Top Dead Center Sensor Error. Anyone know what this is and how to fix it? Problems?

HELP guys... appreciate it.

Code 1 is for the primary O2 sensor.

Just short the service connector and get the blink code and report back with that.

If your TDC sensor really is busted (or the bushing in the dizzy housing is shot), you have to buy the entire distributor sub-assembly (~$275 online, or look to Distributor King for a full replacement).
