Posting this for my brother. This is what his e-mail said and I have no clue what the deal is. It is a 99 SI, stock for the most part, unknown miles on motor and tranny.

I tried bleeding the clutch, but that did not help. It is super weird, Sunday I had 1st, 3rd, and 5th, on the way home I had 1st and 4th, yesterday I had 2nd and 4th. It was also almost impossible to get into reverse yesterday. Now I cannot even shift it into 1st, 3rd, or 5th when the engine is off. If it does go into 1st gear, it will throw it back out. When it first started it was a hot day. The car use to be pretty good when I first started driving and got worse later on. This really sucks..

If all fails, I will drive my bike down to Oregon.

He doesn't really have any tools or anything to work with but if you guys can throw some ideas out I'm sure he can find someone with tools to help him out.
