Faze water temp on turbo teg
I have a Faze electrical water temp gauge and I don't know where to tap the water supply for the sender on my 98 integra. Please someone help me!
you can either tap your thermostat housing...or you can tap the upper radiator hose like mine. I am actually running a greddy water temp sensor, and bought a water temp sensor adapter.
thats the adapter i was talking about ryan , i just didnt know where to get it . like i said the other option is the thermo housing , but im sure it will prob be aPITA

http://www.optauto.com They let them go for about 30 bucks shipped. The adapter I have is a 30mm adapter.

I couldn't find a spot on the thermostat housing to drill and tap, so I used the P72's upper radiator hose housing.
If you've got a PR3 or LS head, then you should probably opt for the temp sensor adapter. The upper radiator hose housing is further back on the head and I'm not sure if it'll clear the coolant gauge sending unit or ECT sensor.

what about tapping the drain plug. I'm not sure if there is a fitting/adapter made that big, but thought I might ask. I have a D16y8 and I know the drain plug is on the back of the block and would be convenient, with my B16 I'm not sure if it would work being behind the exhaust manifold though. Anybody tried this?
same thing i asked him when he called me last night, but he got the gauges for basically free. so i can understand wanting to use them .
But the tapping into the water tube is a good idea. . . well atleast sounds like a good one to me

I never mentioned in that post that it's a 1/8"x27tpi NPT tap. I just kind of figured most people would know to match the thread on the probe with the proper tap....but just in case that slips by anybody, I put it out there.
