whats the going rate right now for a type r motor? is it worth it?

 

4 grand its worth it if u have the money

 

the old b18c5 is prob around 4k now, but for me, im saving up for a k20 which will prob run u around 5500 which is by far better than the old b-series, i mean they are still good engines (b series) but its kinda a waste relative to a k20 (type s)

 

that extra 1500 you'd save would put a turbo kit on the b series and you'd have 300whp. sorry i know i'm just a troll

no kidding wish I had enough money too. Id have to get a loan to rip it up but I think it will be worth it. I heard the k20 wasnt all that but Ive never seen it perform so I cant say. I jsut hope whatever motor I get isnt tore up

 

does the k20 bolt right up to ek civics with the correct mounts? what all is involved with doing that sswap ?
