okay my fellow members, to some of u guys it might sound like a really stupid question but i need to know so help me out so here it is...... From the day i bought my teg brand new in 01, when am i supposed to change my brake pads???? or how often? and yes, i did search and found nothing.. thanx guys

 

You replace them when they start wearing down. There is no specific mileage. Really depends on different things especially your driving habits.

 

depends on how hard you slam your brake and how much you drive but each pad will have a metal bracket to it and once it starts making that loud scratching noise thats a sign for you to change them...or else you'll screw up your rotors too...
