Default is clutch goin out?

hey whats up, my question is about my 91lx accord for some reason when the car is cold my clutch has trouble goin into gear but when it heats up its fine. i went to a shop and they did a clutch adjustment(for free) and they said the clutch is fine it has some wear but alot of life left. any help would work

a lighter tranny fluid would make it easier to shift when cold, but it is not necessary, its normal for it to be hard when cold

I had the same problem...I adjusted the clutch pedal out more. That did the trick for me. Oh and the lighter fluid is a good suggestion...

lol..... well the guy said they adjusted the clutch so i believe that is what they did, cuz they didnt chage anything so i know it wasnt to much work. now what kind of tranny fluid do you recomend??? remember its a 5spd. i thought just regular motor oil works for a manual tranny??? thats what i put in my hatch

use honda mtf or if that doesnt solve it u can try gm/penzoil syncromesh

yeah the clutch is hydro, do hydro take tranny fluid and the cable use oil??

manual transmission fluid is manual transmission fluid..it's for your tranny not for you clutch

clutch fluid uses brake fluid

tranny fluid uses motor oil but don't go and put any damn motor oil in there..just stick with honda mtf

i think you're mixed up about what the clutch actually does
