3 kinds of header? 4-1, 4-2-1 one piece, 4-2-1 two piece? which one should i get? and how many hp would i gain from it?

 

i think the 4-1 is for top end, and the 4-2-1 is for low end power.

 

yeah...4-1 is more for top end..better for Gsr's and type-R's because they have a higher redline

the 4-2-1 is better for low-midrange power...better for LS,RS,GS cause they have a lower redline

i'm not too sure about the 1 and 2 piece parts...i think the 2 piece wwas made just to make installation easier...not too sure though

 

Would any of you guys recommend the DC JDM 4-1 or ITR JDM 4-1 header for an LS?

 

If you are going to get a new header go for the JDM.

FYI...The DC Sports 4-1 don't really do anything for you. Check out some of the tests on the Superhonda board.....

 

4-2-1 is not always for top end. Spoon makes a great 4-2-1 header that out performs the JDM 4-1, slightly, but still does none the less. The difference is in the pipe diameter and primary pipe length...
