Default How to tell the difference between jdm lsd tranny and stock..

Does anyone know how to tell Just by looking at a hydraulic tranny and tell if it's lsd or not. I just bought this complete jdm b18c and i was told it was lsd equipped. But it does'nt say LSD on the casing like usdm type-r trannies. I also heard something about looking inside where the axles go and look for some sort of pin. Or is there any kind of casting #s. If anyoneknows please let me know.....thanx!!

I was told if you look where the axles go into the tranny and you can see straight through, then you have a LSD tranny. If you see a pin, then you do not.

you are correct sir! Also, you can slide the cv shafts in there real quick and give one a turn, if the other turns the same way then you know for certain it's a posi.
