Default Went to the tracks - lost my transmission

So I'm at the tracks today and I miss a gear (3rd) at about 8,500 rpm.
I've done this before sadly, even once earlier today. I got uberdata with no rev-limiter, bad idea.

So anyways, it's hard as hell to get it into any gear now at almost any RPM, and after 4,000 rpm it's virtually imposible to get it into the next gear. I have to double clutch it just to get it into 5th at like 15mph.

The tranny has never really given me much problems...never any grinds unless I make a mistake, but never on it's own.

My best bet is the shift fork, what do you guys think?
I can pretty much rule out clutch because even when the car is off and I would shift gears...it feels tight and rough at every gear.

Any inputs?

I'd be worried about more than just your tranny if you misshifted at 8500....

Tear it apart, take pics, see what's damaged.

8,500 misshift can probably easily make you run to 10,000 and your motor could be shot.

Yeah all I can say is why didn't you put in a fuel cut? All you had to do was enter two values (cut and resume) before you saved and burnt your map. Do a compression test just to double check the motor, but it's probably ok if you're still running at this point and not complaining about a messed up idle, ticking etc. It could very well be the shift fork, but you can' rule out the clutch either. Best bet is to just drop the teanny. Easy and a definitive answer.

Motor is more than fine.
My problem was I took it slightly too high... I slipped the clutch too fast, too late and my tranny is stock.

Anyways, none of you guys think it's a bad clutch fork?
And I hear there are two forks, tranny and clutch, what are the differences??

either way, you're gonna have to pull the tranny altogether. if you got another car to drive around it, get your tools out and get underneath the car. good luck
