the radio doesnt work but he cd player does. the antenna plug is plugged into the back of the deck but the all the radio stations are staticy. any knoe whats wrong and how i can fix it? 93 civic

Im not quite sure what might be wrong, do you have an automatic antenna that raises up and down or do you have a solid mast antenna? That would be where i would start, once you answer that I can continue speculating on what may be wrong!

 

its not anautomatic on so i guess it s the other. the one u have to pull up

 

Make sure you have it pulled up all the way and then check to see if the wire hasnt become disconnected from the antenna its self, thats a possibility, or maybe there is even a small cut in the wire making it come in contact with something and turning the whole car into a giant static antenna.
