3" Thermal Exhaust worth it?
i already have a tunabe 2.5 catback and 2.5 high flow cat coming off a 2.5 downpipe, so i was wondering if the money spent on a thermal exhaust $550 is worth it, or should i use the money towards something else??? if you say no to the exhaust, what would you buy? thank you for your time
well i bought it, ill let you know in a few weeks how it is...
i talked to one of my friends about exhaust not long ago, his advice to my turbo project was to not waste time with 2.5 and just jump straight to 3 inch...

i dont have a thermal but i have a 3inch , you will like it , your turbo will spool faster and you will have more power and top end, atleast thats what i gained when i ditched my 2.5inch system
i have the shitty greddy downpipe, the **** doesnt even connect together correctly that it leaking... cant find anyonewho make one that 2.5inch for a 18g turbo...

Grab a phonebook. Some exhaust/muffler shop should be able to fix you up nicely.
As far as the original question. From what I have heard it makes a noticable difference, definatlely on spool time. I have a 2.5" downpipe, 2.5" cat, 2.67" exhaust and im upgrading to a straight pipe and ditching the cat, ill let you know how much of a difference just that makes, i've heard from many on board that it'll add some good power. Maybe you should look into that if you don't want to ditch the entire exhaust setup.
