Default Fan not working...car gets rather hot

Just Finished my jdm b16a swap and it runs fine but my fan doesn't kick on...After driving for a while then i will sit in traffic and it will start to run hot...i start driving agian and it cools down...any clue on how to fix this?? Also if i am just driving normal the car feels a litle hesitant unil i give it some gas and then it runs fine...could this be the o2 sensors? I have a manifold off of a newer b16 so i had to have a an o2 sensor bung welded in...if i swap the 2 02 senors will tha fix it?

first, check and make sure everthing is plugged in properly. then i'd say look at your fuses. hope that helps.

and then check your fan switch. It's easy to check - unplug it and jump the wires in the plugh together with a paperclip. Turn the car on and see if the fans are on. If they are on, then there's something wrong with your temp switch.

check that your ect switch is wired up properly
check that the fan works
check that the relay is getting a signal
check that the relay is getting power and is functioning properly

I put a switch in the passenger compartment and direct wired it to the switch. I turn the switch on when needed and off when I shut the car off. It is much easier than continuing to mess with the temp switch. The switch cost $3.00 and the wiring was $5.00. About 15 minutes of time and you will be set.

Good luck,
Dave

yeah my fan would not kick on at all!! so i just wired a toggle switch from my fan switch sensor. and it works like a champ now!! and there's an added bonus. if i forget to turn off the toggle switch for the fan when i turn the crx off. the fan will shut off when the crx shuts off!!
