Hey, i was going through my engine bay today and cleaning it and i noticed this extra wire, at least i hope it's an extra wire, any ideas what it could be too or if i could just cut it off there, thanks.....It looks like it runs up to the vtec solenoid.....

uhm u know u have a breather on your CAI right ... ?
there should be a vacuum hose from the valve cover to the CAI there... that is bad for crankcase pressure (and ring sealing) the way it is... esp at high rpms...
if u dont want to run the stock crankcase evacuation system u should at least put a vacuum cap over the CAI PCV port
( sorry to disrupt your thread just trying to be helpful )

i see no pressure switch on the side of my solenoid, but i'm not sure what it should look like either, just looking at, i see nothing that could be a switch, and as for the breathers, should there be a cap on the CAI or the Valve Cover, thanks for noticing that too!!!

nope im lookin at mine right now.
the male plug of the o2 sensor is green but the female part (showin in the picture above is whiteish)
he is running a aftermarket header so they probally are just running 1 o2 sensor.

I second that, especially seeing how he has an aftermarket header.

yes, i am running one 02 sensor, my thought was also the 2nd o2 sensor, but the person that did my wiring made it sound like that 2nd o2 sensor wasn't there and that they hooked the o2 wires together at the ecu, so i wasn't sure, i guess i need to check and make sure they are hooked together, that could be the reason why my car runs just a little rough when the o2 sensor is hooked up and runs smooth when i disconnect it, thanks for the help guys!!!
