vtec solenoid coming loose?
Yesterday some friends and I went to run at the track. On my cousins last run he noticed that the vtec was not engaging and he was throwing a CEL. So he pulled into the pit and we popped the hood and noticed that the wire on the vtec solenoid popped out so we plugged it back in and reset the ecu and its fine now. We cleaned up his engine bay the other day and i told his the power of the water must have made it come loose and running it made it disconnect completely. He was just worried about it and wanted some reassurance, so I figured I would ask you guys. TIA

i dont which wire your talking about the ground or the oil pressure switch one.. but if it came out of the oil pressure switch its fine, just shove it back in there.. and the ground is a just a ground wire for it. so as long as you have a ground running to the solenoid in general you should be fine.
