Default SHIFT POINT RECOMENDATIONS??????

I am just wondering where you guys might be shifting while at the track. and what you might suggest i shift at with my setup. see sign for setup. i was shiffting at 7000 but this weekend i was messing around and found that it seems to still pull after 7000. but with the stk rods and rod bearings and a6 pistons in the z6 block i dont know if i should go any higher. what are your suggestions. flame away!!!

i recommend that u shift right before redline u will pull the best times that way shifting is a process and all processes take time.. which will lower ur track time i had a sohc vtec zc motor redline was 7200... that is when i shifted and i could pull a 16.8 and i am a mile up in altitude check alb dragway.. new mexico..

true, but the people at zex and the machine shop said that this head will create power from 3000 to 8500 rpm, i know better than to go to 8500 but do you think the motor will handle 7500-8000?
