Default problems with b16 in crx...

My homie has a jdm b16 in a crx and he told me he was having probs with his car because he felt a lot of power loss. He just changed his oil/oil filter cause it was running really hot and he is wondering what else he can do? any suggestions or what to check first? his car still runs really hot.

thanks

if it is running hot and he keeps running it like that it could warp his head. if it is still running hot after tha ti would check the thermostat. does the radiator leak by any chance? like a hose would be off of it or something. phatty is probably right but i am just trying to suggest other things if he isn't

if i were him i wouldnt drive the car until the problem was solved. id definatly check the thermostat its probably stuck shut thats what happened to mine. those thermostats are pretty old if they are the originals.
