B16 problems..
It's B16 in a 92 vx. The car runs strong, no oil burning, plugs look good, and no oil in the coolant/coolant in the oil, no bubbles in the coolant when the car is running, BUT.....
1. Idles rough - idles @750 and intermitantly dips to 550 or so(kinda like when your a/c compressor kicks on)
2. Posative pressure from the head when I remove the oil cap and the car is running. Haven't done a leakdown yet but this problem blows my mind!
3. Car overheats on the freeway whith the thermostat installed. I put a new one in and the car wants to overheat. mostly on the freeway but it runs cool when I take the thermostat out.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

the coolant problem sounds like you either had a bad thermostat or air bubbles in the system. honda idle problems are common, probably iacv, and about the crank case, make sure your pcv valve in the manifold works. next, do you have a tube run from the valve cover to the intake like you're supposed to?
sorry for leaving out the all details. I already checked for air bubbles in the coolant = none. I haven't checked the iacv circuit yet but had already thought about it. The pcv valve works OK too. Atleast it rattles when I shake it and I can blow through it in one direction only(like a check valve). And last but not least I have the hose from the valve cover to the intake installed. Any other ideas? I was thinking the idle and pos. press. issue may be related.
could be your ECU giving you idle troubles. Some ECU programs do fawk with the idle, unless your car just recently picked up this idle problem. Why don't just adjust the idle adjustment screw on your throttlebody?
