Default Help Turbo or Supercharger

I have a 98 Civic EX D16Y8 Motor. I want to know from all you FI guys what would be better a turbo kit or a supercharger. I want to run like 8 psi or so. I really don't want to do any more engine upgrades right now. I will Later on, change out the rods and stuff. But, for now I just want something I can upgrade later on. Please suggest which is better, turbo or supercharger, and the best kit, and approx price if possible.
Thanks.

I don't have one yet, but have been doing plenty of research on them. Turbo would probably be better if you are planning on upgrading it later...all you have to do is raise the boost(MBC or EBC) and get a standalone once you have strengthened your internals and fuel. The 4 that are most well known are the Drag, Greddy, Revhard, and FMAX.
Drag,Revhard, and FMAX include a FMIC and all run from approx. $2800-$3700. You have an option with the Greddy(FMIC or no FMIC): w/o FMIC approx. $1700-$2000 / with FMIC $2900-$3200. Most of the Greddy kits are legal due to the internal WG, unlike the external of the top 3. Keep in mind, this is the info I have gathered in the last several months and I am sure more FI guys can elaborate or correct this info.

internal or external does not make a system illegal, as long as you dump back into exhaust before the cat. dont worry about being illegal with a turbo in Canada because you will be, the cops always find something they dont like and issue tickets like for the air filter etc. or anything shiny under the hood. if you only want 8lbs and will NEVER EVER have the urge for more power go get a JRSC or the Vortech which actually makes sick power. - they should both be cheaper than any turbo setup.
cheers
