Default Going CRVTEC....what cams should I get?

I have a B20B with B16 head, What is the best cam for this setup? I want JUN 3's but I do have a budget. Anyone tried the Crower B16 cams? Or ITR cams?

what pistons do you have? you might be able to run itr cams if you dont advance the intake cam.

I wouldn't want to spin the B20 bottom fast enough to make big power with the Jun 3s. You can make good HP with B20 displacement and '01 US ITR cams as you can with a B16 with Jun 3s. Plus you get big torque and you don't have to rev as high.

da6 is right you dont want to spin the b20 rod. So you dont want Jun 3 set up. And ITR or CTR will make awesome power. Im doing a b20vtec and dont think a b20 should rev any higher then 8k. Even with b16 stock head you make 190+whp. With ctr and itr cams you looking at 200-220 whp and massive torque! can you say MAD MIDRANGE power!

alright what if he switches the rods out? what else can you do to safely rev it a little higher? What's the week point of it is it the rods or the crank?

My setup B20 shotpeened and balanced rods, custom JE pistons easily runs to 8200 redline with B17A head (B16)
CTR cams, Crower titanium retainers and dual valve springs.
