ok 2 weeeks ago my car would die, and start back up for lets say 50 miles. then it finally died and wouldnt start, i threw code 15 which is Ignition output signal. so i replaced the whole dizzy from distributorkings.com. well it started to do the same thing today, die then start back up. tonight i was driving and it died and now it wont start up. so im taking it the dizzy **** the bed again. im thinking there is like a short or something that is killing my distributors. has anyone had the same problem? im starting to get sick of this. oh and by the way its a 1995 gsr. someone please helpppp me

 

do you have ignition upgrade?
are your ignition cables good?

nope ignition is stock. and what did u mean by "are your ignition cables good?"...I think my distributor **** the bed again. weird.

 

Your grounds are probably bad, and thats why your new distributors keep dying. Check the ground on the water pump housing.

stock cables....
stock coil
not equiped with msd or crane right
well if one of the cables is having contact it will kill your coil and igniter..

so check cables to see if you have any grey spots....

 

oh ok....so the plug wires could cool the coil and ignitor???

 

and if it isnt that its probably your alternator...do you have a system hooked up cuz thats what it sounds like to me...

 

what the hell would the alternator do to the distributor??? my dizzzy is frieing!
