Default starting problem???

whats up, i recently swapped a jdm b16, into my dx hatch, converted the dx harness to fuel injection with the resistor box etc., well the motor was running fine it was throwing the iacv code, but it was running...the timing was slightly off... so today we did the timing its dead on, plugged in the ecu, needless to say it dosent start... it has spark, it has fuel in all injectors, turns over, it just dosent start, the timing is still dead on and i tryed playing with the distributer side advancing and retarding it, it still dosent start.. and the ecu started throwing code #8.. i know #9 is crank position sensors, but what is #8, and could that be the problem of why its not starting

I "no" how to search, try it sometime.
btw...code 8 is TDC (Top Dead Center) which might be the reason why your car won't start.

your motor would run soo much stronger with a si wireharness.. my ef ran a 16.4 after i sold it to some kid... he fixed the wireharness and ran a 15.6 with nothing else.....

idk sometimes it does matter but i had a b16 in my car this one it ran a 14.6 with bolt ons... and using a si motor harness would mean id have to convert the interior harness to and i dont really wanna do that... im trying to sell the car anyways.
