Suspension Install Help Please...
I'm sure that someone has already asked this question but I couldn't seemt o find an answer to it, sorry guys. I have a 1990 Accord EX with some fairly new (2 years or so) slightly stiffer and lower than stock struts and I have just gotten some Eibach lowering springs from one of my friends (still in good condition, not too bad wear) and I was wondering:
a) Once you ubolt the strut from the tower, what do you do (basically how the f*** do i install these things) and...
b) Is it ok for me to use my current struts with these springs.
My friend said that it should lower my ride about 2.5'', give or take a half inch or so. Thanks for your help guys, it's much appreciated.

youll def. need a spring compressor... compress the spring reverse install... DONT take out the bolts on that thing with out something compressing that spring... if you do stand clear cause someones getting knocked the F*&^ out.
and depending on name brand of your shock/strut.. yes it does matter imo... but it all depends on how you like it...

I have done hundreds of honda springs. The easiest way is with a spring compressor. But if gutsy put the end up to a wall and with your foot on the spring release the nut on top. It will kick some but not too much to handle. The eibach springs are designed to work with the stock struts. I had a set of there sportline springs with about 2" cut out of them with the stock struts and I would say that it rode better than stock. minus the sometimes suspension bottoming out, but that was fixable with some major suspension tuning. Raised strut mounts and moved control arm mounts.
