Default should i wire my speaker with my amp

i got a 00 civic hatch with stock front speakers, no rear speakers, 15" JL sub in sealed box and a Splash neon 1102 amp.

specs for sub: http://www.jlaudio.com/subwoof...S.pdf
specs for amp: http://www.justamps.com/Amp_Pa...n.htm

its all wired up right now and sounds nice to me but maybe since i have this amp, i can also power the front speakers and my sub at the same time. or maybe i'm looking at the specs wrong. noob at this stuff.

Can the stock speakers handle it?
Can the amp handle powering both?
If its ok how do i go about wiring the speakers to this amp?
What gauge speaker wire to both the sub and front speakers?

thanks alot. ordinarily i'd find my own answers by reading a bunch of posts, searches and faq's but this section of hondatech seems ... slow moving . so threw some questions at ya .

Default Re: should i wire my speaker with my amp (racin-type)

It's only a 2ch amp so if you want to power the fronts and the sub you will need pasive xovers for high pass and low pass, I dont recomend it as you will have to keep the the gain on the amp down for the front speakers so your sub will not get very much power, not that it cant be done , but the xover network to do it right ,would cost more then a new set of front speakers,or a small amp to run the the ones you have.

hope this helps. 94
