I'M DOING A MOTOR SWAP AND TRYING TO START IT UP NOW. FUEL IS GOING TO THE filter but its not coming out at all. I took off the exit line to fuel rail and nothing happened. I took off hte nut AT the fuel rail and still nothing happened. But when i take off the line going IN TO the filter, gas spews out.

what gives??

 

undo the line from the filter to the fuel rail and turn the ignition from I to II a few times to run the fuel pump, then check to see if fuel is coming out

 

did that and got nothing

 

get a new filter, maybe somethings wrong with that one.

 

its brand new. i put the old one in for ***** an giggles and it did the same thing

 

can someone try and explain how the FPR ties in to this? is it a vaccum system or is the only force getting the fuel to the rail the fuel pump?
